Finally, leaving Earth was fun, Alex forgot his prized baseball I got him while we were there and I left my swords. They are already on a transport heading towards Star base 38. We have been moved to 38 to await posting on a ship that needs us, until then I've been ordered to make myself available to the star base.

We won't reach the star base for another week due to the route our ship is taking but I will be happy when we get there, being on a transport ship that isn't mine is a bit annoying when I outrank everyone else onboard. Guess I should start getting use to that.
